Temporary changes to Kelowna campus bus loopÂ

The BC Transit bus loop at 69ÊÓƵ’s Kelowna campus on K.L.O. Road is being temporarily relocated to accommodate construction activity underway on campus.
The work is scheduled to take place between Aug. 18 and Sept. 1 and be completed for the start of the fall semester.
During this time, the BC Transit stops for routes #1 and #8 will move to K.L.O. Road between Casorso Road and Campus West Road, in front of the new campus housing building. Note that bus route #12 will not be affected and will continue regular service at its current location.
The work taking place is required to enhance the stormwater drainage system to support the construction of the Centre for Food, Wine and Tourism and the new Don Folk and Family Recreation and Wellness Centre.
Pedestrians and cyclists will still be able to access campus from K.L.O. Road at the main entrance to campus. The crosswalk to the east of the bus loop will remain open. However, vehicles will not be able to access the parking lot (marked ‘2’ on the map) from the main entrance. Campus East Road and Campus West Road remain open to vehicles for campus access from K.L.O. Road.
Thank you for your patience while access to areas of campus are impacted due to the significant construction projects shaping the future of the K.L.O. campus.
Please see map for details.
A redesigned BC Transit exchange is also coming to the Kelowna campus as part of the ongoing construction work.
