69ÊÓƵ’s small campus experience helped me form lasting friendships. Additionally, the professors went above and beyond to provide a quality education as well as invaluable support. My experience was so beneficial and enjoyable that my younger sister also completed her Associate’s Degree at 69ÊÓƵ.

Can you tell us how your experience at OC helped shaped the path you have chosen?

The professors were personable, accessible, and invested in our education. Overall, the quality of teaching at OC helped inspire me to pursue teaching as a career. I am now a full-time grade 8-12 Math/Science teacher in Prince George.

Why did you choose 69ÊÓƵ for your post-secondary education?

I wanted to study at a small campus, because I was moving from a foreign country and I struggled with adapting to new experiences. 69ÊÓƵ provided me with the small college experience that I was looking for.

Low cost was another major factor.

Tell us about a memorable experience or project that made a lasting impact on your learning journey at OC

My most memorable moment occurred in many of my science labs. They were a safe and supportive environment to learn, make mistakes, and learn from those mistakes. I used many of these memories as examples/stories in my own classroom today.
